LSEG Workspace alternatives and Refinitiv Eikon replacements, with pricing compared
LSEG Workspace is a real-time cross-asset market data desktop: quotes, news, analytics, an Excel add-in and trading connectivity, sold on an annual contract through a sales process. Investables.ai is a public-market research layer: one structured card per public asset, both sides of the argument, risk flags surfaced, in seconds, on a monthly subscription. They overlap only for seats whose week is research rather than trading.

Two different searches land on this page. Some people are pricing an LSEG Workspace renewal and want to know what else exists. Others are looking for Refinitiv Eikon and have not yet found out that it no longer exists: LSEG withdrew every Eikon variant from sale on January 1, 2024 and switched off access for remaining customers on June 30, 2025. Workspace is the replacement, and it inherited both the Eikon feature set and roughly the Eikon price.
That price is the reason most of these searches happen. Workspace is quote-only, sold as a named user license plus separately metered data entitlements, and a full seat is commonly reported around $22,000 per user per year. A deliberately narrow configuration is reported from about $3,600. Procurement marketplaces publish medians far below both figures, which confuses everyone, and the explanation is on this page rather than buried in a footnote.
Investables.ai sits at the bottom of the comparison for one narrow reason. A meaningful share of Workspace seats belong to people whose week is reading public companies rather than trading against a live feed, and that job does not need a real-time cross-asset terminal. Paste any ticker, ETF or crypto token and it returns a structured research card: a plain-language thesis, an explicit bull case, an explicit bear case, key metrics, comparables and labeled risk flags. It carries no real-time market data, no order routing and no messaging network. It is informational research, not personalized investment advice, and it never places a trade.
The short answer
What is the best LSEG Workspace alternative?
It depends which part of Workspace you use. For real-time cross-asset trading data the only true peer is the Bloomberg Terminal at $31,980 a seat a year, which costs more rather than less. For M&A comps and private financials, S&P Capital IQ Pro. For portfolio analytics and pitch formatting, FactSet. For charting and screening, Koyfin from $39 a month. For reading a company and forming a view, Investables.ai from $29 a month. Workspace itself is quote-only and reported near $22,000 a seat a year.

Why analysts pick Investables.ai
One structured research card for every name you study
Eikon is gone, so check the date on any price you read
Refinitiv Eikon was withdrawn from sale in January 2024 and switched off in June 2025. A large share of the pages ranking for Eikon pricing were written before that and have not been updated, so they quote a rate card for a product LSEG does not sell. Workspace inherited the pricing model rather than resetting it, which is why the same figures still roughly apply, but anything describing Eikon in the present tense is stale.
Audit entitlements before you argue about seats
On Workspace, data entitlements usually cost more than the platform license they sit on, and they are metered by asset class, region and whether the feed is real time. Nearly every renewal review finds at least one seat entitled to real-time data that has not opened a live quote in a quarter. Cutting an entitlement is politically easy because nobody loses their login, which makes it the first lever to pull and the one buyers reach for last.
A written case, not a wall of live data
On the research side, Investables.ai returns a written thesis with the bull case, the bear case and the risk flags already surfaced, so the reading is done and the judgment is still yours. It issues no ratings, picks or price targets, and it is informational research meant to speed up your own work rather than financial advice.
