The best Quartr alternative depends on what you used Quartr Core for, because Core, the $25 a month desktop plan for individuals, has been discontinued and Quartr Pro is now sold only by sales quote. For live earnings calls on the go, keep the free Quartr mobile app. For desktop transcripts at a published price, TIKR Pro costs $54.95 a month and Fiscal.ai Pro $49 a month. For a written first read on a company, Investables.ai costs $49 a month or $288 a year. This guide compares the realistic replacements on price and on what they actually do, and says plainly where each one falls short.

Why are people looking for a Quartr alternative?

Because the plan most individual investors paid for no longer exists. Quartr's own Quartr Core page now opens with "Quartr Core has been discontinued" and explains that the company consolidated its desktop experience into Quartr Pro "to better serve professionals and enterprises." The page points visitors to a Pro demo and adds that the mobile app "remains 100% free." Quartr's pricing page lists only two products, Quartr Pro and the Quartr API, and both lead to a Contact sales button with no price.

Core used to cost $25 a month, or $240 a year on annual billing. Plenty of software directories still show that plan, so a buyer who searches for Quartr pricing can easily believe it is still for sale. It is not. If you want Quartr on a desktop today, you are asking for a seat-based professional contract, and our Quartr pricing and Quartr Pro pricing breakdown sets out what that involves and what we could and could not find on the public record.

Quartr alternatives compared on price

Every price below comes from the vendor's own pricing page or help center, as recorded on our individual price guides. Quote-only products are marked as such rather than guessed.

Annual billing changes the picture. TIKR Pro drops to $455.40 a year, Fiscal.ai Pro to $468 a year and the Investables.ai Analyst plan to $288 a year, which is within a few dollars of what Quartr Core used to cost.

What is the best Quartr alternative for an individual investor?

For most individuals it is a pair, not a single tool: the free Quartr app for listening, plus one paid desktop tool chosen by how you actually research. Quartr Core was mostly a reading and search tool for transcripts and slides. Replace that with TIKR Pro if you want transcripts next to ten years of financials, or Fiscal.ai Pro if you want company KPIs and a chat box to question filings.

If what you really used Quartr for was forming a view, listening to a call and then trying to decide whether the stock is worth owning, a transcript tool leaves the hardest part to you. That is the gap our research card fills. You type a ticker and get a structured page with what the company does, key market figures and comparables, the bull case, the bear case and labeled risks. The Analyst plan costs $49 a month or $288 a year for 50 cards a month, and the Pro plan at $79 a month adds filing summaries with links to the 10-K and 10-Q on the SEC site.

Be clear about what it does not do. Investables.ai does not stream earnings calls and does not store transcripts. Pair it with the free Quartr app and you cover both halves for less than a single Pro seat is likely to cost.

Which Quartr alternative has earnings call audio and slides?

TIKR Pro is the closest like-for-like replacement for the Core desktop experience. Its Pro tier includes ten years of earnings call transcripts with audio and slides, alongside 40 quarters of financials and four years of analyst estimates, at $54.95 a month or $37.95 a month paid yearly. The cheaper TIKR Plus tier stops at one year of transcripts, so check which tier you need before you pay. Our TIKR pricing guide lays out every plan.

The free Quartr app still carries live calls and transcripts, so if audio is the only thing you need, you may not need to buy anything at all.

Is Seeking Alpha a good Quartr alternative?

It is a good alternative if you want transcripts plus a stream of news, contributor analysis and quant ratings, and a poor one if you want a clean, quiet research workspace. Seeking Alpha Premium starts with a $4.95 first month and then renews at $299 a year, and the paid introductory month is not refundable once it converts. That renewal rule catches people out, so read our Seeking Alpha Premium price page before you start the trial. If you already pay for it and want out, our list of Seeking Alpha alternatives compares the options on price.

What should a fund or research team use instead of Quartr Pro?

Teams have a different problem. They are not replacing a $25 plan; they are deciding whether Quartr Pro is the right sales-quoted platform at all. The institutional set is quote-only across the board. AlphaSense is reported at roughly $10,000 to $20,000 per seat a year and more with expert call transcripts, which our AlphaSense cost guide documents. Aiera covers live events and transcripts for institutions, and its own SEC filing puts revenue at $5 million to $25 million across roughly 200 client firms, as our Aiera pricing guide explains.

Ask every vendor the same three questions in writing: the price for your exact seat count, whether data or API access is a separate contract, and the renewal cap. Quartr itself sells the API separately from Pro seats, and so do most of its peers.

A small team that does not need live audio for every name often gets further with a shared research layer than with more transcript seats. Our Team plan gives five seats and a shared watchlist for $249 a month, priced on the page.

How to choose a Quartr alternative in five minutes

Start from the job, not the brand. If your week is listening to calls, keep the free Quartr app and stop there. If it is reading transcripts and slides at a desk, buy TIKR Pro or Fiscal.ai Pro on a monthly plan for one earnings season and move to annual only if you keep using it. If it is deciding what to own, start from a written research card and use transcripts to check the parts that matter. Once you have a thesis you like, you can backtest the idea against two decades of price history before you size a position.

Whatever you choose, watch the renewal amount, not the first charge, and avoid any plan whose price you cannot see before you sign up. That is the habit Quartr Core's removal should leave you with.
