Every page you will find about S&P Global Market Intelligence pricing says the same thing: S&P does not publish prices, contact sales. That is true in the United States, and it is why the figures circulating for Capital IQ and its sister products are reseller estimates and procurement medians rather than rate cards.
It is not true everywhere. To sell to UK public bodies through the G-Cloud framework, a supplier has to file an actual price list. S&P Global Market Intelligence LLC has filed thirteen services on G-Cloud 14, and every single one carries a real pricing document. This page is the first place those thirteen rate cards have been read together and put in one table. The prices are stated in pounds because that is the currency S&P filed them in; the US dollar conversions are our arithmetic, at 1.3656 dollars to the pound, and are shown for scale rather than as a US quote.
Investables.ai is nowhere near this market in size or purpose, at $29 to $249 per month. Enter a ticker and you get a structured research card: what the business does, the metrics that matter with peer context, the bull case, the bear case, comparables and labeled risk flags. It carries no real-time data, no redistribution rights and no credit models, and it is informational research only rather than investment advice.

The short answer
How much does S&P Global Market Intelligence cost?
S&P Global Market Intelligence filed thirteen rate cards on the UK G-Cloud 14 framework, and they show a very wide range. Capital IQ Pro runs GBP 45,000 for up to five users to GBP 250,000 for up to a hundred. Credit Analytics runs GBP 34,600 to GBP 176,100, priced by counterparties scored rather than by seat. The cheapest way in is a single country PMI subscription at GBP 5,600 for five users. API access is priced as a percentage of the desktop base: plus 75% for API alongside desktop, plus 25% for API delivery only.

Why it works
What the filed rate cards show that the estimates do not
The API surcharge is a company-wide rule, not a product quirk
Three separate filed cards, Capital IQ Pro, Credit Analytics and ESG Desktop, state the same two add-on multipliers in identical language: API alongside desktop costs an extra 75% of the desktop base price, and API delivery on its own costs 25% of that base. Because it is a percentage rather than a flat fee, the API line grows every time you add a seat or a counterparty band. On a GBP 145,000 thirty-five user Capital IQ Pro deployment, adding API access is roughly GBP 108,750 a year on top.
Not everything is priced per seat, and that changes the math
Credit Analytics is the clearest example. It is priced on the estimated number of counterparties you score per year, and the filed card states plainly that within the named teams there are no user limits, new users can be added mid-term at no cost, and there is no cap or back-billing on scores generated. A team of forty scoring 90 counterparties pays the GBP 34,600 entry band. The same forty people on Capital IQ Pro seats would sit in the GBP 180,000 band. Same vendor, same platform, two completely different pricing axes.
The same content costs 18 times more if you buy it standalone
ESG Desktop appears twice in the filings. On the Capital IQ Pro card it is an add-on at plus GBP 3,000 for all users up to a maximum of ten. Filed separately as its own service, ESG Desktop for up to ten users is GBP 56,500. That is the same vendor, the same framework and the same seat count, priced at roughly nineteen times the bundled rate. If ESG is on your list at all, whether it rides on a Capital IQ Pro contract is worth more than any discount you will negotiate on the base.

S&P marks the Capital IQ Pro and ESG Desktop cards as exclusively for UK public sector clients, and the Capital IQ Pro card carries a time limited discount noted as running to 31 December 2025. Treat every figure as evidence of structure and scale rather than as a price a US buyer will be quoted. Investables.ai pricing is our own published rate and is informational research only, not investment advice.
Why Investables.ai
One research card that compresses the reading
Not a wall of raw data, not a one-sided opinion, and not a six-figure terminal. The thesis, both sides of the argument and the risks, in one structured tear-sheet you can act on. You stay in control of every decision.
Both sides, every time
The bull case and the bear case sit side by side, so you weigh the argument instead of reading a single take. Informational only, never a recommendation.
Risks on the page
Valuation, concentration and regulatory risks are flagged explicitly, so the downside is visible up front rather than buried in a footnote.
Faster diligence
A structured first pass in seconds means you spend your time on judgement, not on gathering, across stocks, ETFs, crypto and startups.
