Zacks Premium costs $249 a year. That is the only price on the Zacks order form, and it is billed once for twelve months rather than monthly. It comes with a 30-day free trial, and the order form says you can cancel up to 90 days after the trial ends and get every cent back. For a research subscription, that is an unusually long window to decide.
Above Premium, Zacks sells model portfolios rather than more data. Its products page lists Zacks Investor Collection at $59 a month or $495 a year, which bundles the long-term investor portfolios with everything in Premium. Single investor services such as ETF Investor, Income Investor or Value Investor list at $299 a year each, and the trading services such as Insider Trader or Options Trader at $995 a year each. Zacks Ultimate, which opens every portfolio including the ones closed to new members, is offered publicly only as a 30-day trial for $1. Independent reviewers report the price after the trial as $299 a month or $2,995 a year. Zacks does not print that figure on its public pages, so check it on the order screen before the trial ends.
The real choice is not about tiers of one product. Premium gives you the Zacks Rank, Style Scores, more than 45 premium screens, equity research reports and the Focus List, so you still pick the stocks. Investor Collection and Ultimate hand you buy and sell signals from Zacks portfolios. If you want a second opinion on names you already follow, $249 is the whole bill. If you want someone else's picks, you are shopping in the $495 to $2,995 range.
Investables.ai does a third job at a similar budget. For $49 a month, or $288 a year on the Analyst plan, you type any ticker and get a written research card with the thesis, the key market figures and comparables, the bull case, the bear case and labeled risks. It is informational research, not advice, and it covers names a rank alone cannot explain.

The short answer
How much does Zacks Premium cost?
Zacks Premium costs $249 a year, billed annually, according to the Zacks order form. It starts with a 30-day free trial, and Zacks says you can cancel up to 90 days after the trial ends for a full refund. Investor Collection costs $59 a month or $495 a year, and Ultimate starts with a 30-day trial for $1.
Why it works
What actually decides your Zacks bill
The refund window runs about four months
Most research tools give you a 7 or 14 day trial and then a non-refundable charge. Zacks Premium gives 30 days free, and the order form adds a satisfaction guarantee that lets you cancel up to 90 days after the trial is over for a full refund. In practice that is roughly 120 days to decide whether the Zacks Rank changes any decision you make. If it does not, you get the $249 back. Put a calendar reminder at day 100, because the guarantee only helps if you use it before it ends.
Premium is ratings, the bigger plans are picks
The jump from $249 to $495 and then to about $2,995 is not more of the same data. Premium rates the stocks you look up and screens for new ones, and you still decide. Investor Collection adds the buy and sell signals from the long-term portfolios, and Ultimate opens every portfolio, including short-term trading services. Ask yourself which one you want to pay for: a second opinion on your own list, or someone else's list. Most self-directed investors who hold 10 to 30 stocks only need the first.
Read the 23.80% claim before you pay for it
Zacks says the Zacks Rank has averaged a gain of 23.80% a year since 1988, more than double the S&P 500. Its own disclosure explains how: hypothetical portfolios, equally weighted, rebalanced at the start of each month, compounded, with some stocks left out when no month-end price was collected. That is a backtest of the rating, not the return a subscriber who buys a few ranked names will earn. Buy Premium for the screens and the reports, and treat the headline figure as marketing.
What you get
The written read a Zacks Rank does not give you
A Zacks Rank tells you a number from 1 to 5 and a research report explains it for the stocks Zacks covers. Investables.ai writes a research card for any ticker you type: what the business does, the key market figures and comparables, the bull case, the bear case and labeled risks.
- Writes a research card for any US ticker, not only the stocks a rank covers
- Costs $49 a month or $288 a year, close to the price of Zacks Premium
- Puts the bull case and the bear case side by side with labeled risks
- Shows the key market figures and comparables behind the view
- Explains why, in plain language, instead of a 1 to 5 score
- Gives a small fund or RIA five seats on the Team plan for $249 a month
Thesis
Dominant AI accelerator supplier. The debate is the durability of data-center demand versus a cyclical capex peak.
Bull
CUDA moat, near-monopoly share
Bear
Customer concentration, cycle risk

Why Investables.ai
Ratings, picks or a written first read
Zacks sells ratings and model portfolios. Investables.ai sells the written first pass on a company you already care about. Plenty of investors pay for one and test the other before renewal.
Both sides, every time
The bull case and the bear case sit side by side, so you weigh the argument instead of reading a single take. Informational only, never a recommendation.
Risks on the page
Valuation, concentration and regulatory risks are flagged explicitly, so the downside is visible up front rather than buried in a footnote.
Faster diligence
A structured first pass in seconds means you spend your time on judgement, not on gathering, across stocks, ETFs, crypto and startups.
