Fiscal.ai, the stock research terminal that was called FinChat until June 2025, sells two paid plans. Its own help center lists Fiscal.ai Pro at $49 a month or $468 a year, and Fiscal.ai Max at $99 a month or $948 a year. Paying yearly works out to $39 and $79 a month, the discount the pricing page describes as two months free. There is also a free account, and every new user gets two weeks of Pro before being asked to pay.
The gap between the two tiers is about depth and output, not about AI. Pro gives you 15 years and 20 quarters of financials, 10 years of company KPIs, 10 dashboards and the latest 10 earnings events. Max stretches that to 20 years or more of financials, adds unlimited dashboards, audit links back to the filing, as-reported and standardized statements, team billing and, importantly, the ability to export data. Fiscal.ai says only Max users can download financial tables. If you model in Excel, you are a Max buyer.
Two terms matter before you pay. Monthly plans are non-refundable, and annual plans can be refunded only within 30 days of purchase or renewal. API and MCP access, which lets you pipe Fiscal.ai data into your own models or into Claude and ChatGPT, is priced separately from the terminal.
Investables.ai sits at the same price point and does a different job. For $49 a month you get research cards rather than a terminal: enter a ticker and you receive a structured first read with the thesis, the key market figures and comparables, the bull case, the bear case and labeled risks. If you want to build your own dashboards from raw data, Fiscal.ai is built for that. If you want the written first pass on a company before you decide whether it deserves an evening of your time, that is what we sell.

The short answer
How much does Fiscal.ai cost?
Fiscal.ai Pro costs $49 a month or $468 a year, and Fiscal.ai Max costs $99 a month or $948 a year, according to the company's help center. Yearly billing equals $39 and $79 a month. A free account exists, new users get two weeks of Pro, and API access is priced separately.
Why it works
What actually decides your Fiscal.ai bill
Export is the line between Pro and Max
Most people pick a tier by counting years of history, and for a US investor 15 years on Pro is usually enough. The feature that actually forces the upgrade is export. Fiscal.ai's help center says only Max users can download financial tables, including segment and KPI data, and that export currently covers US and Canadian companies and ADRs. If your process ends in a spreadsheet model, budget $948 a year for Max rather than $468 for Pro, because copying numbers out by hand costs more than the $480 difference within a few weeks.
Refunds only exist on annual plans
Fiscal.ai refunds annual subscriptions within 30 days of purchase or renewal, reviewed case by case, and does not refund monthly plans at all, including unused days after you cancel. The practical move is to use the two-week Pro trial hard, then decide. If you are unsure after the trial, a month at $49 costs less than committing $468 up front. If you are sure, annual billing saves $120 a year on Pro and $240 on Max.
API and MCP access is a separate purchase
The terminal subscription does not include programmatic access. Fiscal.ai sells its API and MCP connector as a data feed for builders and institutions, priced apart from Pro and Max, and some reviewers report an individual API license of about $990 a year, a figure we could not confirm on a Fiscal.ai page. If you want Claude or ChatGPT to read Fiscal.ai data directly, ask for the API price in writing before you plan around it. If you only need a written first read on a ticker, you do not need an API at all.
What you get
The written read Fiscal.ai leaves to you
Fiscal.ai gives you the financials, KPIs, transcripts and a chat box to question them. Investables.ai hands you the finished first read per ticker: what the business does, the key market figures and the comparables, the bull case, the bear case and labeled risks.

- Exports cards on the Pro plan without a separate data license
- Gives a small fund five seats on the Team plan for $249 a month

Why Investables.ai
Same budget, a different job
Fiscal.ai Pro and the Investables.ai Analyst plan both cost $49 a month. One is a data terminal you work inside; the other writes the research card you would otherwise assemble from that data. Many investors who price one end up comparing both.
Both sides, every time
The bull case and the bear case sit side by side, so you weigh the argument instead of reading a single take. Informational only, never a recommendation.
Risks on the page
Valuation, concentration and regulatory risks are flagged explicitly, so the downside is visible up front rather than buried in a footnote.
Faster diligence
A structured first pass in seconds means you spend your time on judgement, not on gathering, across stocks, ETFs, crypto and startups.
